GMF240 - Unfortunately I bought the wrong size, and tried to exchange for a bigger ladder. Was told I’d have to organise the return of the ladder myself, would then lose £50 off the price I paid. Seemed slightly off!
Ladders999 reply: we do appreciate your disappointment and would love to operate as if you had bought a jumper of the wrong size but, sadly, big & bulky products like this are never just exchanged for free and are subject to very hefty carriage charges which suppliers cannot be expected to bear themselves if the error was not theirs. On top of that, carriers refuse to insure goods being returned so we cannot claim if they are lost or damaged in transit. That is why customers have to arrange returns themselves (unless it was our mistake and we supplied the wrong goods originally).

- RUBBER FEET NOW FREE WITH ALL LADDERS - push-fit over the clawed feet for use on hard ground.
- Lightweight alloy construction for home use as well as professional growers and groundsmen.
- Allows easier & safer "face-on" working close to hedges, bushes and trees with rear spiked support positioned into them. A much safer method of working than placing normal stepladders alongside.
- Hugely wide base and 3-legged design makes tripods really stable in use.
- All joints fully welded and fitted with 4” / 100mm deep "double-rung" treads.
- Clawed alloy feet 4"/100mm diameter give excellent grip on soft ground
- Adjustable height single rear leg is hinged at the top. Can be adjusted in 6"/150mm intervals for levelling with min & max extension of 150mm - 730mm (or max 430mm on 4ft & 6ft models). Simple drop-nose pin on a captive chain locks leg in place for easy adjustment in seconds. No tools required.
- Flat top design gives a resting place for tools & baskets. Top 380mm wide x 200mm deep appx.
- Tested to EN131 Professional safe working load 150kg / 23.5stones.

GMF240 - I am pleased I bought the 8ft ladder, it makes the job of maintaining my garden quicker easier and more importantly safer which means I do not need to employ others to do the hedge cutting who don’t necessarily do the job as I want.
