- Easy to transport & store - when dismantled, most 4’x4’ towers will fit comfortably into an average family hatch-back car when rear seats are down !

- Domestic DIY Towers are wonderfully versatile and give greater safety than ladders for outdoor house maintenance, indoor painting (including stairwells), hedge trimming, tree pruning etc.
- Standard basic towers - (as priced below) include all main steel components - frames, diagonal braces, handrails & base plates. Full components list is in our pdf brochure.
- Optional items - the addition of castors will make them mobile and adjustable bases will overcome most uneven or sloping ground. Stabilisers (outriggers) are also available to make them safe at heights over 12’6” platform level. Platform Boards can be purchased ready to use from us or made up by you (dimensions supplied), whichever you prefer.
- IMPORTANT: 4’ x 4’ and 6’ x 4’ towers with platform height over 12' 6" should be securely tied-in to building (or over 22’ 6” when set of outriggers is fitted). 4’ x 2’ and 6’ x 2’ towers - tie-in all towers over 6ft platform height (or over 15ft when outriggers fitted).

We recommend 4ft x 4ft towers for all locations where they will fit because they are the most stable and easiest to erect and dismantle. If 4x4 is suitable for most places but a narrow 2ft wide tower is needed in a few locations it is easy to convert your 4x4 tower into a 4ft x 2ft. See our Domestic Steel Towers PDF brochure which gives components list for all towers. From this you can work out how many 2ft frames, handrails and 4x2 diagional braces will be needed to add to your 4ft frames to erect the required height of narrow tower.
Platform Heights are the height of your feet when standing with a guardrail around you as shown. Approx Working Heights are the heights you can reach, which are 3ft to 6ft above the height of the platform.
