Product Features
- Traditional timber stepladders - all manufactured to highest quality BS1129 Class 1 Industrial Duty with max SWL 175kg / 27.5stones (duty rating 130kg).
- Still manufactured to this robust and long-standing standard although kitemark is now replaced by new BSEN131 European standard.
- Selected softwood with combed treads housed full section and pinned at 250mm / 10" centres.
- Steel hinges bolted and screwed for extra strength.
- Heavy duty timber with deep back-flap and have morticed joints on rear section of Builders steps.
- All models finished in the white (untreated) with tie-rods at intervals.
- Note that the Health & Safety regulations require that users never stand higher than the last tread at which they can still hold-on to the steps for balance.
- Note the difference between Platform Height and Overall Height. Do not order steps too high!!
- Normally made-to-order and DELIVERED FREE mainland UK in 21 - 28 days.
